Details

  • The custom will be a full-body design based on your description with minimum 3-5 reference images

  • The client must be responsive to the artist while working on the design

  • WIPs will be provided in order to better guide the direction of the character design

What to not do

  • The client must not cut contact with the artist during this process

  • The description must be sufficiently detailed, and not just describe singular things in isolation (e.g. "I want a good pirate design")

  • Vague feedback during WIPs is not feedback (e.g. "Can you make it better")

Terms of Service

0. BEFORE THE COMMISSION

  • The full commission price must be paid upfront via PayPal before the commission is started.

  • The optimal currency accepted is in USD/EUR, but other currencies could also be accepted.

  • The client must only pay after the artist has agreed to the price and commission payment.

  • Any monetary compensation made without the written consent of the artist is treated as a donation.

  • The client cannot force a chargeback once the commission has been agreed upon and the payment has been sent.

  • An unexpected deadline or rush order has an additional charge quoted by the artist.

  • Overly complex details are subject to an additional fee.

  • NSFW Versions of the requested artwork will have a 40% - 75% Fee added on top of the original price, varying with the amount of details requested\complexity.

BY COMMISSIONING ME YOU AGREE TO ABIDE BY THE TERMS LISTED BELOW.SOME STATEMENTS CAN BE BOUND TO CHANGE IF DISCUSSED WITH ME, THE ARTIST.NOT READING MY TERMS OF SERVICE IS NOT VALID GROUNDS FOR BREAKING THEM/NOT ABIDING BY THEM.I RESERVE THE RIGHT TO DECLINE A COMMISSION SHOULD I FEEL UNCOMFORTABLE WITH ITS THEME.

I. GENERAL TERMS

  1. If possible, provide neat visual references and descriptions

  2. I should be notified of any expected deadlines.

  3. Expected turnaround time will vary based on the complexity of the request and personal circumstance, as well as waitlist.

  4. I reserve the right to change the price of my commissions accordingly, however, I will never change the price for in-progress commissions that have already been agreed upon.

  5. An exception to this rule are major requested changes after the commission is in progress and beyond the sketch/rough color phase.

  6. If you fail to follow some of the terms, i have the right to decline your commission.

  7. Harrassment, threats, or otherwise inappropriate behavior is considered grounds for declining a commission and blacklisting the client.

  8. I reserve the right to decline your commission without needing to provide an explanation.

II. PAYMENT

III. DELIVERY

  1. I will do everything I can to make my clients happy.

  2. However, after a commission is finished, only small changes are allowed to be made, such as small coloring/marking mistakes.

  3. The final product given to the client will always be high-res, and will always include my signature/Watermark, unless it is a commercial piece.

  4. I will still require credit to be given for commercial pieces.

  5. The final piece can be sent in both JPG and PNG. I can also provide the image with a transparent background should it be required, if the background is simple enough, it can be changed.

IV. COPYRIGHT USAGE & POLICY

  1. I, the artist, hold every right to the produced drawing, not the client.

  2. All completed commissions fall under personal usage unless specified otherwise.

  3. I reserve the right to show any commissions done on my portfolio or any of my social media websites, unless it was requested that I do not do so.

  4. In this case, a 10% privacy fee of the total commission price is added.

  5. The client must NOT omit my signature from the finished piece.

  6. Should a client wish for any edits to be done to a piece commissioned from me, they must consult ME and NOT other artists for these edits.

V. PERMISSIONS

THE CLIENT CAN

  • Use the copyrighted artwork for personal use only unless agreed otherwise.

  • Print the art, and claim the right of their character(s) but not the drawing itself.

  • Post the finished image of the commission, provided that proper credit is given to me via social media links.

THE CLIENT CANNOT

  • Use the commission for commercial or profit purposes, unless this was discussed previously. The commission price is 300% of the price for any commercial use.

  • Take credit for the creation of the artwork.

  • Remove any watermarks and/or signatures.

  • Alter the artwork without the consent of the original artist.

  • Use the artwork for AI Art generators, for it's under the artist's rights and legal action will be taken if used for that purpose.

*A PURCHASE OF COMMERCIAL RIGHTS TO THE ARTWORK WILL ALWAYS BE AT LEAST 150% OF THE ORIGINAL PRICE AND WILL HAVE TO BE SEPARATELY DISCUSSED WITH ME, THE ARTIST.

VI. CANCELLATIONS & REFUND POLICY

  1. If money has not been sent yet, the client has the right to cancel the commission.

  2. If the client wishes to cancel a commission, the refunded amount will be sent based on how much work I've completed. The client will receive the work that I have done up until the refund.

  3. I accept no refunds after I begin working on the final coloring process.

  4. Should the client file a chargeback after the commission is done, they will be blacklisted, and I will be free to post their contacts everywhere I see fit for others to watch out for.

AND LAST BUT NOT LEAST, LET'S KEEP IT CIVIL
BY COMMISSIONING ME YOU ARE AGREEING TO THESE TERMS OF SERVICE.FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH MY TERMS CAN RESULT IN THE CLIENT BEING DISALLOWED FROM EVER COMMISSIONING ME AGAIN, AND I RESERVE THE RIGHT TO REPORT THEM TO THE PROPER AUTHORITIES AND PUBLICLY BLACKLIST THEM.
